1 Super-Human (1-6). [From Marvel Comics:

Rising above their own agendas, the Ultimates forge ahead with the introduction of new allies and face a major global threat.] Old Book of the Week 3/23/05: [This astonishing book, perhaps the pinnacle of the super-hero genre to date, had the incredible bad luck to come out the same week as Locas, and thus lose out on BotW. Better late than never! Millar and Hitch deliver a reinvention of the Avengers which brings the tired old concept kicking and screaming into the 21st century. The story actually makes the Avengers cool again, while the art is simply breathtaking, especially at super-size. And it reads so much better in one sitting then spread out over two years... (But kudos to Joe Quesada and Marvel Comics for not speeding the process along with fill-in artists.)]
