1 Street Justice (1-5; w Marc Andreyko, a Jesus Saiz & Jimmy Palmiotti). [From DC Comics: When a case she's lost leads to the murder of innocents, prosecutor Kate Spencer rages into the night, tracking the perp who's eluded justice in the courts. She's found her true calling. She is the Manhunter. And she likes it.] U-Decide Book of the Week 11-9-05: I couldn't decide, so the good folks at Millarworld made up my mind for me—and they were torn. On the one hand, they liked Manhunter, which from what I've seen (the first issue) is a nifty, dark updating of the often-updated concept, this time a female D.A. who gets fed up with the restrictions of the legal system and decides to take more direct action in the war against crime. Only she finds that being a super-hero is a little harder than it seems in the comics. The book seemed intriguing to me, and I've been eagerly awaiting this trade.
